Checkpoint 6 (Woori Yallock Primary School)

The weather has beaten us. The current status for the walk is such that Mt. Donna Buang has been closed but 306 is yet to reach Checkpoint 6 where they will most likely be stoped. Decisions are yet to be made as as to how our illustrious team members will react. Stay tuned...

Why I'm doing it:
It's a good cause plus it is physically challenging, something I can say hell yeah I did it one of life's achievements.
What I am feeling a week out:
Let's do it ...like now! Is my ego writing cheques my body cant cash?
Injury most likely to occur to me:
Just name one; I am probably the most accident prone of the group if I get away with only one type of injury I am doing well.

I reckon I will have my first about the 60k mark ... more concerned about chaffing.

Occupation: Insurance Underwriter- Financial Lines
Hobbies:
Going to the beach, reading, anthropology, catching up with friends and family
Why I'm doing it:
Initially it was thought of as an incentive to get fit.... the closer it gets, the less fit I feel... Also a fantastic way to challenge yourself as well as helping out a good cause.
What I am feeling a week out:
O'ohhhhhh.....
Injury most likely to occur to me:
A roll of the ankle

If I prepare properly, 50-60km. For some reason I do something wrong, the 30km mark.

Occupation: Student, studying IT at Swinburne Uni, currently doing a 6-month work placement at National Australia Bank
Hobbies:
Reading, playing with (breaking!) computer stuff, fitness training when i can, and of course army stuff.
Why I'm doing it:
A good challenge, something really positive i can say i've done. The ability to help out others.
What I am feeling a week out:

Injury most likely to occur to me:
Just worried about blisters and chaffing

3 good reasons. Why not? Its a worthy cause! Things always look smaller from a great distance
